Though it is advised for your well-being, and for those around you, that you avoid unnecessary travel, you may need to access transportation to campus and other locations to safely visit family.

In addition to your college or university’s emergency assistance program or Fast Fund, here are more resources to help you travel:

Access local transportation updates:

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) Offers COVID-19 updates and guidelines for travel throughout Philadelphia. Septa University Pass A 10% discount on transit passes for students who attend the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Temple University, University of the Arts, University of the Sciences, Manor College, Neumann University, and Harcum College.

Septa Discounts for Riders with Disabilities A 50% discount on Regional Rail, Subway, and Bus rides for approved applicants (submitted in-person, by appointment).

New Jersey Transit Offers COVID-19 Guidelines to ensure safe travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. Check out the service update to understand schedule and/or route changes. Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. 973-275-5555

Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) Offers COVID-19 Guidelines to ensure safe travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. A student discount is available by downloading and printing the provided coupon, and presenting it along with your student ID at a FREEDOM Card Service Center to receive one (1) free card. Broadway Station (Monday-Friday: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.) Woodcrest Station (Tuesdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m. & Thursdays 2 p.m.-6 p.m.) Additional travel resources Greyhound AmTrak Megabus
